The Elopement is for those couples that would like to celebrate their union by going to a destination and having the wedding there. You may have the ceremony at your home, on the way to the airport, at the airport, or at your favourite restaurant, and would like the legal part of the wedding cared for in Canada. This will ensure that there will be no red tape when you get to your destination, questions about being legally married, or requiring blood tests if necessary. No need for language translation either. The couple, 2 legal aged witnesses, close family and friends if desired, and the valid Ontario Marriage License. You may customize your vows if you so wish or stick to the pre determined ceremony.

Rev. Barbara also offers a course before you get married called Conquering Communication before you say “I do”. You can take the course separately, or receive a discount on the course when you book Rev. Barbara as your officiant. It is recommended to take the course 2 to 3 months before your wedding.
There may also be an extra charge if you are outside Brampton or Mississauga, it is a $.51 per km as per the Ontario Government.
Price is $250.00 plus HST.
Deposit: $ 150.00
Deposits are non-refundable after the 10 day grace period. Your deposit confirms the date and time for your wedding ceremony. Prices do not include the cost of your marriage license which can be purchased at most municipal city halls. Final payment due on the day of the ceremony.
You must obtain your marriage license before you can be married in Ontario and you have 90 days from the date of issuance to get married. Included is the initial consultation, a second meeting if needed, email of the vows for confirmation, and all paperwork (except the marriage license).
